Join us for an exciting World Premiere! Dan Wyman’s concerto for the marimba lumina (a type of synthesizer played like a marimba) incorporates sounds recorded near the Golden Gate Bridge, as part of the bridge’s ongoing 75th birthday celebrations. Stravinsky’s neoclassic masterpiece is heard in the rarely-performed complete version, which includes three vocal parts. Kristin Link conducts William Schuman’s most popular work.
