Sponsor A Chair
Patrons (donations of $1000 or more) qualify you to sponsor a chair in the orchestra for a year (e.g., for a position such as principal viola, or for a particular player). Please let us know of your interest and we will arrange a discussion to provide you with all the information you might need.
Corporate Matching
You can DOUBLE your donation if your employer has an employee-matching contribution program! Please check with your employer, and let them know how you support the Orchestra. Many corporations in the Bay Area support the arts through employee-matching, and by doubling the impact of your gift, we all win!
Tax Deductible Donations
Redwood Symphony is an IRC § 501(c)3 nonprofit (our Federal Tax ID Number is 94-2976319), and your gift may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes. Since each donor’s situation may be different, please consult with your tax advisor or the IRS to determine the extent to which your contribution may be deductible, or if you have questions about the impact of recent changes in the tax laws (including the recent Coronavirus pandemic related March 2020 CARES Act). Gifts over $250 will also be gratefully acknowledged by letter from Redwood Symphony for documentation and tax purposes.
