Celebrate our country’s birthday at Redwood Symphony’s Happy Rootin’ Tootin’ Birthday America! family concert, featuring Aaron Copland’s Billy the Kid, Pops Hoedown and music by John Williams, Leonard Bernstein and John Philip Sousa. The concert will begin with a Tour of the Orchestra, where you can meet members of each instrumental section for demos and conversation.
For the Grand Finale, everyone gets a glowstick baton, a conducting lesson from Maestro Eric and a chance to conduct the orchestra onstage in Stars and Stripes Forever!
