Since 2008, the REFUGE has been providing protection for many East Coast street food classics, especially the hand-carved navel pastrami. We grind our own blend of hamburger daily and procure our own Ribeye Blend for our Authentic Cheese Steaks. Not to mention, we also offer dazzling salads and eclectic appetizers. Donato Enoteca in downtown Redwood City offers contemporary Italian cuisine by Chef Donato Scotti, with a weekly seasonal menu featuring house-made pastas, wood-fired pizzas, expertly prepared meat and fish dishes inspired by every region of Italy, and a curated wine list from boutique producers.

Jalisco-region Mexican fare & blue agave tequila served in a vibrant space with a heated patio. Deliciously perfect coconut shrimp tacos, churrasco steak tacos, and mini gorditos. Vegetarian- friendly and vegan options.

As a steakhouse, we pride ourselves on always delivering a perfectly cooked steak. Our steaks are aged 28 days and then cooked to perfection. Tender filets, a juicy Ribeye, and a show-stopping Tomahawk. In addition to beef we also carry a large selection of fresh seafood including steamed mussels, salmon, Chilean sea bass, mussels, rockfish, and shrimp.

Doc’s Bagels is very popular, offering a variety of toppings and delicious bagels. They have sixteen types of bagels, seven breakfast bagels, five premium bagels, and eight spreads, plus thirteen sandwiches.
