Cañada College parking info

Current daily parking rate at Cañada College is $3. Expect delays when purchasing from the machines at the campus parking lots, and plan accordingly. To save time on rehearsal nights, Maestro Eric encourages players to purchase term permits here:
https://www.credentialsops.com/CGI-BIN/gacgiord.pgm?ALUMPP004697

Parking is usually free when classes are out, including Friday nights and weekends. During concerts, please leave the faculty lot spaces for orchestra patrons, unless you have a large instrument.

Here's parking info from the college website.

EV Drivers

There are eight ChargePoint chargers in the upper lot (Parking Lot 1). There appear to be times when charging is free, and other times when it is billed at $0.35/kWh. If you have a San Mateo County Community College District ID number ("G number"), you can apply for complementary charging up to four hours by following these directions.

Beware! You will want to unplug before you reach four hours of connect time, as a $5/hour surcharge applies afterward. Also, be sure your EV is really charging before you head down the hill; campus police will mercilessly fine vehicles that are parked in EV spaces but not charging.
